Since its founding, students of Ruth Shyu Piano Studio have won prizes and honorable mentions in MMTA's Judged Festival and Bay State Piano Contest, in MTAC's Sonata-Sonatina Festival and Winter Solo Festival, in NEPTA's Middle School Competition, and in Cerritos Yamaha Music School's Annual Competition.
